How To Build Your Affiliate Income In 2017: Part 3

In Part 2 of our How To Build Your Affiliate Income In 2017 series, we discussed ways to drive traffic to your affiliate link and the amount of traffic you need to push to your affiliate link each day. In part 3, we will discuss using the traffic you create to target the correct market for your product. Plus, you will want to create your marketing campaigns targeting the niche your product falls inside.

Decision 3: What kind of marketing campaign do I want to create and what kind of traffic do I need to generate to my affiliate link? This is really 2 decisions but they fall so closely together, I feel they must be discussed together.

In Part 2, we discussed 7 ways to generate traffic from different sources. Each source discussed would target a different type of clientele. In Part 1, you decided what product you are going to promote. Now, you need to target prospects which may be interested in the product you are promoting. So, you want to create your marketing campaigns targeting these prospects.

Let’s look at just two of the traffic resources from yesterday’s list.

  1. Business Social Networks: Business Social Networks like Apsense or LinkedIn attract the professional. You will see profile pictures of folks in business attire. These folks are normally looking to create a substantial income. They are or want to be Entrepreneurs who are making a living working on the Internet. If they find the right opportunity, they are willing to invest major time and money in a business opportunity. Some of the folks have offline jobs and they use these networks to make connections to further their offline job aspirations.
  2. Pay to Clicks. Pay to clicks are full of members looking to make a couple dollars. For many folks, creating a few extra bucks each month is all they want or need to accomplish. They are looking for easy ways to create cash and normally are not willing to make an investment. Some of the folks which use these type of sites just think of it as a hobby. A social atmosphere to meet to people and create a little extra income.

These are two very different types of advertising resources. To create successful advertising campaigns, you would want to target the clientele who uses each resource.

For the Business Social Network, your ad campaign should look professional and discuss the income possibility which your product can generate. You will see a lot of talk about creating “financial freedom”. Here is an example headline I saw today:  ” Get the $10K report now!” You want to create opt-in ad campaigns so you can build your list and create a responsive following. Think Big!

For the Pay To Clicks, your ad campaign should look good and keep it simple. Your ad wants to tell the viewers how they can easily generate income by using your product. Here is an example headline I saw today: “Do Nothing And Earn Money”. You still want to create opt-in ads so you can build your list. You want to become the expert of creating easy money. Think Easy Button!

Hopefully, you can see how your advertising campaigns should be created to reach the target clientele at the advertising resource you are using to create traffic. Make them look professional and highlight the features which will interest the marketplace you are reaching with the traffic you are creating.

It’s not hard to be a good affiliate if you remain focused and create the correct type of advertising campaigns. Then, use advertising resources which can reach the prospects who will have genuine interest in your product.
